Hi All,

A bit of a stab in the dark here as Google has not turned up any good answers, but does anyone know what APNs are used by Telecom Cook Islands?

Thanks,
Jason

Have had lots of problems just with making and receiving calls in the past.

Vodafone had not switched roaming on
and last time with telecom loan phone( left tandem phone attached)

but both times the telecom centre just up from the town bus stop were most helpful.
I know this doesnt answer your question but its worth knowing where to head to if you have a problem

Thanks for the info, sleepy. Did you use data services at all in the Cook Islands?

I can't really guess. I have a client that I am shipping a GPS tracking device that needs to be configured with the APN settings by me.

Trial and error could be expensive and time consuming!

hmmm, I'll see if I can help tomorrow. so far, I found only one old IR21 for TCI and there is no GPRS information in it. either they did not have GPRS back then or there was no data roaming agreement.
not promising anything though...:)

Yeah, the site (built with Joomla?!?) doesn't mention data at all, but industry news site I have found mention that they have data capabilities in the Cook Islands. I guess the data services are just not switched on.

I couldn't find anything useful, apparently they don't have any data. can't you ask your client there to contact TCI and ask them directly?
