I know you have all probably seen loads of posts asking wether this is worth it or not
This is pretty much the same deal

I am going to switch over regardless of peak-time speeds
But was wondering based on the fact that I'm in the suburb Aranui (in Christchurch)
and not many people have broadband here (and I've heard that Aranui has good broadband speed for some reason) and I do believe ourhouse is close to the network box,
does this mean my peak-time speed won't be as affected as it has been for others.
Or am I no exception?

P.s anyone in Chch have their net cut off for like 3 seconds at about 11:57pm?

It shouldn't make a difference.

Ya that's what I'm hoping but I've heard of people get dial-up speeds
during peak time on The Big Time plan

Ya I just want nice browsing speeds. Enough for two coputers during daytime
Then fast speeds for heavy downloading overnight
Overnight speeds seem to be at normal highspeeds overnight when using torrents
for others
