For those wanting to use their MP3 playing handset ie Sanyo 5600/Nokia 6255 Harrier or Apache etc some telecom stores have an adaptor cable available for $14.95. Works great, have tested with AV labs portable music system and goes great.

It gets even better! these are only $5 from Telecom in Lampton Quay, Wellington.

I have seen these for $30 dollars or more on some websites so this is a great deal.

Hey there...
So what is it exactly? is it an adapter which converts from 2.5mm to 3.5mm? Somebody was saying that Telecom will have those wireless FM transmitters for 5600 by christmas?

Or going to dick smith and buying a 3.5 to 2.5mm convertor for approx. $1 seems a much better idea to me. I have one for my phone, plug headphones and tape adapter into it for in car. Works perfectly!!!!!

Hi Tried that adaptor on the Harrier and could only get Mono and stereo if i pulled the adaptor slightly out. $14.95 cheap car kit as well, the mic is quite good and the stereo speakers mean you can hear your conversation better than some hard wired car kits!
