1. The infamous breakdowns and being without service when I needed it.


2. Not being able to have the "go-one bill" and having to be prepaid. This meant that when making calls or interwebbing I would run out of money and have to go to a store to top up etc.  You can do this on CDMA but why not XT? Nothing to do with the network just a business decision.


3. The R6 phone being rubbish.  Had to get a new sim to stop getting double contacts and 'no service'


4. The great deal I got from Slingshot.  Free phone, free contract, free txts, free calls.


5. Cheaper calls.  89c a minute vs 25c? No brainer.


6. The no-nonsense sign-up and information gathering.  The amount of time I got told different things from Telecom when signing up for XT ridiculous.  SS was stress and hassle free.

Not meaning to start this all over again, just thought I would sum up my time so feel free to comment.  I'm an avid reader of these forums.
