I have been told that this phone is sim compatible.. is that true?? I realize they are two different network types, but I know someone who took their sim out of their vodafone phone and put it into their Telecom phone to get free texting on the weekends... is that possible?
Some CDMA handsets have a slot for a 'removeable user identification module' or 'RUIM' but, at the end of the day, it's still a CDMA handset. There is absolutely no way that you can use use a Nokia 6585 to connect to a GSM network.
