Does anyone know the average time it takes for telecom to turn off port 25 filtering?

I just had to do it for a business client and finally got it completed today after taking 2 weeks. About 5 CSR's kept saying it was unblocked but it wasnt and finally after getting through to some sort of elevated support desk yesterday, they opened it up today.

Telecom is going to be re-imbursing the client for my invoice and the client wants to know what the average time is.

I've done it many times via the opt out website and it usually goes through straight away.

It usually is done straight away.

In my experience there are usually two things that will need to be done before this will work:
* Ensure that you have the correct login details - if the details are wrong, often the modem will still connect but it won't have the correct profile loaded.
* Restart modem so that the new profile can be loaded.

Hi All,

All new connections from 1 Jan have a new way of unblocking port 25 and it is taking upwards of 48hours and cannot be done via the selfsurvice currently. If you PM me the details I can look into the Port25 Issue :)

Will you also be allowing this on the Big time plan?
