I'm thinking of getting a new phone, but it only supports HSDPA 900 / 2100, what I want to know is the XT WCDMA UMTS network able to support 900 Mhz cellphones? Or only 850 / 2100 MHz.

Cheers.

It's only 850/2100 MHz.

900/2100 is used by Vodafone. If you buy a phone that supports this it'll work great on Vodafone but notr on XT as Freitasm pointed out above.
