At fear of getting lost in the other thread i decided I would be better off splitting things up a bit.

Every night at peek time my ping jumps up about 100ms, is anyone else getting this issue? (locally and internationally). It also includes some packet loss.

The issue does not seem to be so bad for those who I have talked to in Auckland

Based in Auckland, trace to telecom.co.nz takes same number of hops and averaging 100ms... for a traffic shaped and managed account I wouldn't be expecting any better.

You call ping times at peak time above 100ms just a issue

Are you kidding is this really worth starting a thread over?

Why would i be kidding?

How is this not a issue?

Also realise i am getting loss aswell.

I never had this issue before on Big Time, I have only ever had issues with international ping times (which i dont mind so much).

Edit: To add, i have never noticed local traffic being shaped, this is part of  the reason i am posting this as a possible fault/issue.

I have ping spikes on Big Time but mine are usually more than 100ms, my normal ping is about 40ms but during peak times this can get up to 600-1000ms on a regular basis.

I suppose a better question is anyone on Big Time not getting this issue?
