On Curitel/Pantech website the TX-130 is said to feature a miniSD card slot, while the ones sold in here by telecom have no sign of one. Do telecom have control over the features of phones?

Carriers can control some aspects of phone features, but not all.
Telecom has recently embraced memory card phones, so i doubt they had a hand in removing it from the 130c here...

It's also said to do long Video Recording when it doesn't.
