I know one exists and I remember reading up about it earlier... But was having problems searching for it last night.
Does anyone use it? What do they think about it?

And is the traffic on it zero-rated (as in you only pay for the services you use)?

Thanks

The URL is www.xtramsn.co.nz/pda
I have this saved as one of my favourites on my PDA.
It only has very limited information - Weather & the top 4 stories under News, Sports & Business.
The News, Sports & Business tend to be same as the top of the hour stories on Newstalk ZB,

But it is still the only NZ news, weather, sports website for PDA's that I have found.

http://pda.xtra.co.nz

It is not restricted to PDA's (i.e. no device detection). I use it on my desk top as well, just 'cause it is small.

If you are refering to 'zero rated' as in WAP I think you will find that it is considered off menu access so it will be billed accordingly.

Jama, would it be considered 'Internet access' or WAP access?

Ie. If I brought a dataplan - would usage on the XtraMSN PDA portal be counted towards that?

I think you would find that it is considered 'internet access' on a phone.

I never actually thought we would have any one wanting to access it from a WAP phone.

On a data device (Apache/Harrier) it would come off your data plan. There is no way for the billing system to zero rate a specific URL over CDMA Internet (jamamobile).

I use it on my Pocket PCs (Apache and Jasjar) but wouldn't mind having more content availabe...

There is not really a good lightweight news portal for mobile devices around.

I agree more content would be good. Long story and not the right place but you wouldn't believe what I went through just to get this much done...
