Is anyone else having issues on the XT network after upgrading there iPhone to iOS 4.0?
1. Voicemail button no longer works.
2. Every time I turn the iPhone off it loses the Cellular Data Settings.  (Will be a big issue as I travel alot)

Does anyone have any info on this please?

Good news.
After reading the iphonewzeland forum.
I have loaded the Cellular Data Settings again and shutdown my iPhone then restared and the Settigns have stayed this time.

To say the least I am stoked - will update the post if there are any other issues

Just shutdown again to make doubley sure and woohoo it is still working.

Is the iphonewzealand site down? I can't seem to access it and want to read up and understand everything before installing OS4 on my iPhone.

I also had the same issue. Adding the settings again then immediately turning the phone off and back on again seems to have fixed it as well.

Hi
I also had the same two problems.
After entering the settings twice, they do stay.
But I still don't get voicemail.
Any ideas for the fix on that?
Thanks

I've just added 083210 to my Contacts, then added it to my Favourites list, seems to work ok.

The problem with the voicemail button not working is due to a field in the database tables within the XT SIM card that the iPhone tries to pull the number from being missing. The same missing field causes the same issues for Blackberry apparently. Telecom are aware of the issue and will fix it for future SIM cards so the voicemail button on the iPhone will work.

Sounds good. Hopefully I won't have to pay $30 for that replacement SIM in future :)

Generally speaking Telecom don't charge for replacement SIM's.

I have just updated to v4.0 and lost my e-mail and internet function as a result "you are not subscribed to a cellular data service" I followed the instructions and entered all the network settings as recommended, but nothing changes.

What else can I try. My Cellular Data settings are stored even after a re-boot, but don't work!

Help...

Hi
I had to enter the settings twice for them to work.
Second time I used Copy & Paste rather than keying them.
Suggest you try that.
Good luck

This is going to sound really patronising but... something must be entered wrong, otherwise it would be working.
