Hey everyone,

I'm using a Telecom T-Stick, and I've nearly used up my 500mb data allocation. Telecom say on their site that when I've used it up once, I'm able to purchase another 500mb for $29.95. Once I have completely used up the 500mb will the T-Stick automatically get given the additional 500mb for the $29.95 fee, or must I call Telecom and arrange for it to happen?

Thanks!

To more fully explain, the T-Stick will use your exisiting credit at the rate of 10c per MB up to a maximum of $29.95 in a calendar month (i.e. about 300MB). After that additional data use if free up to 500MB total (again this is in a calendar month). Then you're back to the 10c/MB rate for another 300MB and a final 200MB free allowance. I don't know what happens if you use over 1GB in a calendar month, probably 10c/MB thereafter. The next month the same thing happens.

What that means is that you don't have to use 500MB a month. If you only use 100MB, you'll only get charged $10 from your credit. The 500MB thing can be thought of as a "bonus" once youve used 300MB at the 10c/MB rate. At least this is how I understand it. You don't just buy 500MB for $29.95, in other words. This all assumes you're on prepaid.
