Dudes & dudettes,
I have a DSL-G604T modem, and?when switched off the user name settings are changed to
" User@jetstreamgames.co.nz " or something like that and its bloody annoying !!
Any way to stop this happening ??
Cheers

Tried updating the firmware ? Sounds like a bug thats putting the defaults back in place.
Is it losing any other settings ? (ie: port forwarding etc)

As long as the router isn't playing up and resetting due to power surges or similar, you need to save the settings.
Step 1 is change the username/password on the WAN Settings page and click on the apply.
Step 2 is click on the Tools tab at the top of the web page and select the System option on the left.
Step 3 is clicking on the Save & Reboot option and OK the Save & Restart.
The modem will restart and store the altered settings in the router.
