Hi,  I am new to the forums as of now.  I have often looked at these forums for answers to things and it has proved to be very helpful at times, but for the first time I have not been able to get a definite answer about something from Geekzone, or Google.

Anyway, to the point.

I am looking into buying the Samsung S8500 Wave and will want to use it on the Telecom XT network.  I'm unsure whether it is fully compatible with the network so ive halted buying it.  Does anyone have one already and can tell me?

Ive tried looking for an IMEI number online to check it with the telecom phone checker (http://www.telecom.co.nz/mobile/ournetwork/phonecompatibility) but then found that they are a bad thing to post online and so didn't find one..
