I use the MF626 T-Stick to receieve 4GB of prepaid mobile broadband per month on my PC and want to know how I can take advantage of un-metered tvnz ondemand.

I guess that I am looking for a software solution to successfully emulate one of telecoms mobile TV capable phones and then be able to watch un-metered tvnz ondemand.

I have tried a different user agent in firefox to emulate different wap browsers but that still doesn't do enough to allow the system to think that my pc is in fact a Telecom mobile TV capable phone!

Cheers,

Tane

mobile TV is going to look absolutely terrible on anything larger than a mobile screen.

watching it on a laptop/PC is, IMO, not worth the hassle (assuming it is even possible)

I was expecting that the small image would probably be small.

It wouldn't be ripping off telecom - i would still expect to subscribed to the service at $2.50 per week or $10 per month. The issue is that i don't have the right hardware' to view mobile tv - not that i want to rip telecom off.

I guess I should have re-phrased the request - how to take advantage of un-metered mobile tv on my pc by subscribing to the service using my pc

I don't think you can.

Can't be done, MobileTV capable handsets go through some equipment that only MobileTV handsets can access..

Easiest way to get un metered TVNZ content is with an affiliated ISP like orcon  who do not charge for data on TVNZ website. And it's crystal clear! Better yet, watch tv via your PS3!
