I'm contemplating a HTC Wildfire, I'm currently using a 6275i on Telecoms CDMA network. Will I run into any issues migrating my plan (200 off peak minutes + 2000 texts to telecom mobiles) to one of similar calibre on the XT network? Perhaps one with a little bit of data?

Basically, does the Wildfire work on XT?

According to http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_wildfire-3337.php

It says it only supports HSDPA 900 / 2100

XT is 850MHz with very minimal 2100 infill.

Going on this I would not recommend getting this phone for use on XT, however this would suit Vodafones Extended 3g Network.

There may have been a USA (AT&T) Version released which supports 850 but you would have to research to see if it has.

Thank you very much, I think it may not be worth the hassle - I currently require my new phone to work on XT, I haven't had much experience outside of Nokia phones, but I do like what HTC is doing, is the Nexus one capable of handling XT?

Mobicity have stopped selling the XT compatible nexus one.
The HTC Desire is very similar. I'm posting this from one now on XT.
Make sure its the XT/NextG compatible model through.

Thank you I'm going for the A8183. Looks like a very nice phone - will be buying one as soon as funds allow.
