Hi,

I want to port my 021 vodafone number to XT.
I already have a SIM card on XT with quite some credit on it.

I know that I'm going to lose the credit on the vodafone sim and the number on the XT sim but will I keep the credit on the XT sim?

So in the end will I have the 021 number on XT and the old credit that was on the XT SIM card?

I hope I made myself understood :)

Thanks.

Hey, i'm 90% sure you will keep the credit on the XT sim.
Also, you can gift the Vodafone credit to another Vodafone user if you want.

Ask for the credit to be transferred to your new number.

the credit belongs to the mobile number not the sim or handset, if the mobile number is moved to another sim card (unconnected sim) then the credit will move ( technically it didnt move the number moved to a different sin card and the credit remained on the mobile number) if the sim card you are wanting to move you mobile number on to has an active number already you can not port you number on to that sim as it is already active. ( you can NOT move credits between providers ie voda - telecom- 2deg)
