Hi, Tonight Telecom posted a broadband issue on their web page saying that people in the Porirua area may experience connection issues and that the fault is currently unknown. I am with Maxnet, and have had no internet since 330pm. Also my friends on the other side of the valley lost their internet too.

Later on about 9, they posted:

Our technicians have been working on this problem and we understand full service has been restored as at 8.35pm this evening. We apologise for any inconvenience. [\quote]

My question is: does anyone know what happened?
