Hi

I am looking to get a XT micro sim for my iPhone.  Is that something all the stores would have / does anyone know of a store in CHCH that has them?

I am looking for a prepay one.   (I assume they are same price as standard prepay sims?)

Thanks

You should be able to get one from Orb Communications. They are our corporate supplier and have them for the same price as standard SIMs.

At the moment if you pay $30 for a micro sim, you get $30 credit, but you cant transfer this to an existing number, you have to use the new number, If you want to transfer your number it is $20 for the card with no credit.

I went into a store in Dunedin today and they had a cutter to cut my existing card to micro for free,
I had to use the cutter myself as they don't take any responsibility if it doesn't work

Same story for me. They refused to sell my friend a Micro SIM despite having stock and said either cut it at own risk or go home pretty much.

I'm not currently on XT so a cutting device isn't go to help me.  Perhaps they are trying to save the micro sims for people moving to XT instead of giving them to their current customers.

I guess I could get one with the credit, use it with the number it comes with, then port if I decide to move? or will they not allow me to do that?
