XT? CDMA? DSL? Post line stats if DSL and do an isolation test.

its4taylor - so this is not a new issue that has cropped up today then? It's been ongoing for a while?

You need to post as much information about your issue as you can as people here are not mind readers - if you want people to help you, post complete, comprehensive information about your issue and it's back ground.

Vague statements and incomplete information just means people have to keep coming back again and again to get more information and most people won't even bother trying to help you.

Ok, well this has been happening ever since i got broadband early 2009 and ive had 3 modems, those aren't the problem. Ive also had a replacement PC.

Telecom Technicians cant pin down the issue because they're totally useless and cant all the ones ive had visit me arent fluent in english and wont understand what the problem is.

When this internet connection halt happens, the internet stays connected but no data travels past the local network, i can access the modem page but no external sources.. It will resume shortly after a period of about 30 seconds. Thats about all the information i can think of at the moment keewee01

Also, my road has not yet been connected to  ADSL+2 yet and is due to be done by december

I was using user@xtrabb.co.nz and abc123 as the settings.

I have just started using the proper settings *****@xtra.co.nz and ******* for the password, ill see if that makes a difference, but i doubt it. I have just managed to get the bill payer of the house, my flatmate to type in this info, but he only typed it in and will not tell me it

You already have anoher thread about this, http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?ForumId=39&TopicId=67009.

On that thread yo say the problem was solved. You have an alarm, you have flatmates, you changed the wiring yourself.

I will lock this thread, and if you want to continue, please do so in the original discussion.
