Ok, Ive had a Thomson TG585 from Telecom for just under a year. Yesterday the wireless stopped "working".

Ive tried turning off/on (power) & restarting via the UI (over ethernet) and still no go. Ive confirmed its not the laptop since the other two laptops (and my phone) have the same connecivity issue. Ive also tried turning the wireless off/on via the UI and also not joy. Ethernet is fine BTW.

Symptoms;

1) Wireless network shows up after router reboot
2) Laptop connects initially
3) Internet access appears to be ok (eg can see google)
4) After about 30 seconds "poof" the network disappears and the wireless connection indicator (Windows 7) shows a red cross
5) The network is no longer found

Any ideas to try before I contact Telecom for a replacement?

Thanks

Do a hard reset to restore factory settings - at the back of the modem is a small hole with the word reset - use a pin, while the modem is switched on and hold it in until the all the lights go off - about 10 secs.
