It seems like Slingshot has included some new broadband plans! And also have adjusted their plans from the GST increase.

Is Telecom going to do the same? Their new adjusted prices seem a bit awkward for such a large company to have charge their plans like this, as they typically have bargains like $XX.99.

I am hopeful that they might eventually increase their double caps, or I might be switching to Slingshot in the near future.

Slingshot rounded up it's new plan pricing to whole dollar values, Looks like Telecom has done that too. I guess the old .99 .95 cent physiological barrier has now been broken as consumers know it's just a marketing gimmick.

Slingshot didn't adjust it's prices for GST it released all new plans, so it could get nice whole dollar values. Did Telecom did something similar or did they include a price hike in the gst increase to give them whole $ prices without adding anything extra.

2 seconds of simple math suggests that Telecom actually just dropped their ex.GST price slightly to hit round numbers (e.g $51 plan at old 12.5% GST would be $49.89).
