Client told me they have lost internet in the office.  Rang xtra CS said there were no problems but then confirmed there were authentication problems for some clients in Auckland.

no update on area effected or time scale to fix the problem.

Anyone else?

Cheers
Andy

Hi again - after a bit of hunting on the TC site I see that they're aware of the problem, but no further info. Once again - thanks to GZ members to alert us to a problem (after quite a few router reboots & scratching of head).

Cheers,

Fantastic.. Just been on the phone to complex support for 20mins, who thought it was the port to blame.. I was scratching my head earlier too, tried a new router etc.. Would have been good to know earlier but oh well :)

Im in Blenheim by the way, only have one customer effected.

I have one customer (in Auckland CBD) affected by this.  Went offline about 12.30 and can't reconnect.  I tried a different router and then called the Telecom helpdesk only to find this issue was the cause.

I'm still waiting for them to come back up.

Once again Geekzone triumphs over direct Telecom CS who couldn't tell me anything apart from initially denying any problems at all. This was after a 20 minute wait for CS to talk to me.

My Telecom clients are still off-line after nearly 4 hours.

May I humble suggest looking at Xnet who we use in our office. Xnet CS answer the phone pretty quickly and have (touch wood) less issues than Telecom.

I don't work for Xnet, just happier with their service than others.

Cheers
Andy

I'm still down - everyone else back up yet?

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.
