Mobile PA is a telecom provided service that should interest you.

There is software which can do this (allthough may be difficult to plug into your own voicemail). If you can get a voice to email service you could get a shared PA (I was even looking at this virtual PA idea out of the Phillipines) an they could transcribe and txt/email you.

WinScribe (www.winscribe.com) is a NZ company that makes software do this sort of thing. They might be able to refer you to a service provider that uses their software.

Exchange Server 2010 has a voicemail-to-text transcription service built in also.

Ive got Mobile PA on my phone. I can honestly say it is very good.

The cool thing is I get the to let me know if the call is business or personal as I use the same number for both so if its my day off I dont have to worry about it Tongue out

Try having the same service, but on Vodafone - that is far more expensive than Telecom's offerings

(it is a great service)
