I'm thinking about buying a Telecom mobile phone. I will mainly use it for SMS and voice calls. Any suggestions?

A Nokia 2125 is a nice simple, easy to use phone.

It has a colour screen and is limited to SMS and calls.
Check it out here

actually it has many other features (wap, monophonic ringtones and so on), but I agree, it's easy to use, especially for voice and txt...

I meant that it doesnt have MMS etc etc. Just basic sms and calls. They are really good little phones. Also you can get them without a colour screen for quite a bit cheaper. see the nokia 2118

sure, though it does have, wap, email, downloadable ringtones, callertunes, speakerphone, info alerts, songID, and dual mode (as does the 2118)

essentially is a basic wap one device the above features are pretty much standard, and of course you don't have to use any of them, it's up to you! If your just looking for voice calls, and the occasional sms, it's the one I'd go for...

The 2118 is fantastic if you want TXT, and calling..  Mines real solid and takes the wacks.

Keypad is reasonable to good, keys are spaced well, B/W screen while oldschool is very usable, especially in sunlight.
Rintones are very loud... All the important bits.

And that price of $79.99is just FANTASTIC

The nokia 6015 is a larger Format phone, same size as a 2280 and MUCH better that that dog... keys are bigger and more responsive too which is better for larger fingers, and by pressing Left on the joypad, it goes straight to SMS. Screen is suprisingly nice.
