I see that the N8 is about to be, or has been, released in New Zealand and Vodafone will be selling them initially.

Is Telecom going to be selling the N8 and/or the E7 when it is released?  These are two phones with awesome features and it would be great to see them in the Telecom line up.

The N8 is a pentaband phone so even if Telecom doesn't sell it directly, you'll be able to buy one from Vodafone and use it on Telecom. It looks like the E7 is pentaband too, but I can't confirm that.

I figured that, but would rather not have all the Vodafone branding and personalisation on it.

According to NBR,

"Vodafone will release the N8 ($999, off contract), on November 19. Telecom - which has dragged its feet a little with recent high-end Nokia handsets - will also stock the N8."

Sorry to "bump" the thread, but PC World has briefly mentioned that it's coming to Telecom next year.

I posted the press release in the "Official N8 thread":

"The Nokia N8 will be available from Vodafone from Friday 19th November 2010 for a retail price of NZD$999 and Telecom will be bringing it to its range in the New Year."
