What size is the card and what is the error message you get when you try to format the card?

Checked Nokia's specs for the 6265, and it is supposed to be able to handle 1GB mini-SD cards. The only other things I can think of is that you've write-protected the card, or that it is faulty. Do you have any other device or card reader (an SD adapter may be needed) to try it out in?

Hmm... sounds like it's an issue with the mini-SD controller Nokie uses. Have a read of this thread on Geekzone in which Paradoxsm has a suggestion on how to fix the problem.
