I dialled into the telecom usage meter today for the first time in a while and find out that for October and November there is no usage showing - it just says 0mb.

The only thing to change was that I did get tivo - what to do - bring it up with telecom?

It has been widely reported that Telecom currently cannot separate TiVo data from any other broadband data. As a result any TiVo owner currently has unlimited broadband as everything is "unmetered"

They are well aware of it and allegedly a fix will be out at some point. So for now just be quiet and enjoy while it lasts!

Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation

Just received a letter today which said usage meter will start working between 7th and 14th December.

I was actually using less broadband then when metered, as if I didn't download something this month, always be able the following month, oh well back to using heaps in last week of future months to get my data value out of it since doesn't roll over.

Tivo well worth it. Solved hard drive space running out on mysky, Tivo holds a lot more and better guide search features.
