I presume most Telecom XT customers got one of these offers with their last account.  I thought I'd take up the offer and went on to the Telecom website as directed in the offer.

While I could find more details on the offer, try as I might, I couldn't find any way to sign up for it.

Am I missing someting here?

Has anyone managed to sign up for this offer?

How did you do it?

Thanks

I imagine that you have to call up Telecom to signup to the 'double the joy' promotion. Also I would assume that you will be locked in a contract for the duration of the term, which is not really a bad thing if you were going to be with Telecom anyway :)

This page tells you how to sign up

Hmmm, that link takes you to a page to sign up for extra services which are nothing to do with this offer.

The brochure intimates that the offer can be activated on line, I dread any time I have to ring Telecom.

It's always a stuff up when I try to do business over the phone with them.  The call centre people are very polite but in most cases next to useless.

It took them several attempts over a 3 month period to make changes to my internet account.  I have been billed for something for three months more than I should have, just because they didn't do what they said they were going to do when I first called them.  They are probably wondering why I haven't paid that amount.!!!!!!

Anyone else have any ideas?  Anyone from Telecom who might know the correct link on their website?

I signed up to the smartphone exta plan on prepay which is $28/month for 480MB data and 5000 texts. Good news with smartphone extra plan is that you don't get charged $28 if you only use part of the service. I am only going to use data which is broken at $14 and the 5000 text is broken at $14. With XT prepaid reward credit, you are getting 480MB data for $10.80 on a $40 top up. Win!

Had to ring telecom on 0800 32 32 32 to get this done.

Do whatever you want to do man.
