Looking for some assistance here.

I have a Compaq laptop for which I purchased a Telecom T Stick to allow us to access the internet etc while away from home.

Worked fine for the first couple of weeks  but has been giving me grief ever since.  The T Stick connects fine but I cannot access the internet using any of the browsers - Chrome, IE or Opera that I have installed.  Just tells me that there is no internet access.

The laptop can still connect to my wireless LAN at hone without any problems so it doesnt appear to be related to that.

It may be relevant that this was working while I had Norton Internet Security installed on the laptop but fell over once the trial period had expired.  I have since uninstalled Norton completely as I plan to use another product, if I ever get this working again that is.

I'm really suspecting that it will be something in the Windows Firewall settings that is preventing this but ZI cannot for the life of me figure out what it might be.

Any ideas will be gratefully received

Are you sure there is enough credit on your TStick?

I suggest you go to mbbmeter and see if there is still credit on the card.  All you need to do is setup the one time pin, which will need you to have the TStick dialler loaded so you can get the SMS message.  If you can't get it setup PM me your mobile number and number printed on the sim card and I can set a password manually.

When you run out of credit you can still connect, but you can't browse anywhere.

All good thank you guys.  Interesting that the useage meter in the telecom connection manager showed only 360MB used but the online meter revealed the the whole 500MB had been used.  I topped it up and lo and behold we were up and running again.

Thanks for your assistance
