Hi I am trying to help someone block data on their R100 to prevent inadvertent data charges.

Can someone help? Do I just change the internet.telecom.co.nz APN to something else?

They still want access to T-world so I'd just leave the WAP APN unchanged I presume.

[Moderator (MF): changed the subject, since it's not Telecom blocking anything, but the user wanting to block]

Ring Telecom customer services and they will block the data portion of the account. I did exactly the same for my daughter's R101 on prepay.

You may find the block is an all or nothing - check with them first. Currenly the phone cannot access the telecom portal either which is free.

Either way ring telecom :)

Procrastination eventually pays off.
