I'm sick of the useless range of Alerts and Ringtones that telecom offer on their own website.

I'm just wondering if its possible to add your own ringtones like you can do with most Vodafone mobiles?

I've got a Sanyo 8200 and want to add the T-Mobile jingle (which i've finally found after spending countless hours searching for it!)
but it's in mp3 format...

like could I change it to the specific format for the sanyo (no idea what the format is) and then upload it to a server then direct my sanyo to the site and try and download it? (just tried it but it won't download the file and save it to the phone it just plays it)

are we locked into telecoms ringtones from their website? that seems rather unfair!
