Recently i have been having some issues with the Telecom Supplied Thomson TG585v7 Router.
I find that it often either reboots or drops the DSL connection and the times i am able to get on and see what is going on I find the below message.
once it comes up i get the below details for my DSL connection can anyone help out and let me know if this is good or bad
I live around the corner from the cabinet and have tried swapping line filters (only have one) my layout is router connected direct to the master outlet (no filter and no other phone) in the house and a cordless phone connected to a second outlet via a filter.
i found a while ago the Thomson did not like a lot of traffic going through it e.g. streaming media files round the house so i have a gigabit switch that all my pc's etc are connected to and a single cat5e to the router and only use the wireless for small devices e.g. iPods and Mobile phones
