Blocking/slowing ports
Does telecom do this?
I experience extreme slowdown/timeouts 5pm-10pm weekday nights. Mainly when [playing battlefield play4free.
I have rung the helpdesk they say the dont but I am sure they do. On 60gb plan btw.

network congestion in your area could be the problem... 5-10pm is when alot of people are using the internet.

Its not affecting everything i can still get the same downstream anytime of the day from NZ and Aussie servers its just certain sites and games. Hence why i think traffic management. My are is yet to get a cabinet. I get ADSL2 but to the exchange That is 3-4km away. Max down is 7.7mbps.
