Anyone else having issues with extremely slow load times for some international sites?

Been ongoing since Friday afternoon. Have tried calling Telecom this morning, but after an hour on hold I am thinking I will wait!

I've been noticing a few international sites being generally laggy the past few days with some timeouts that get through after a refresh or two. Was on the phone to Telecom this morning about something else, was about 45mins before I got through, so yeah, try them again later if you don't have time to wait.

Had a look on Xnet"s site. they suggested changing the MTU in your modem/router to 1492. This worked for me but had to change it in 2 places and required a restart. I initially changed it under local- connection, but then changed it under internet-connection-edit on my RTA1025w
