Does anyone know if or aprox when this model *may* come to NZ.
As I have a CDMA Treo 650 and the Treo 700p with EVDO, extra RAM and a better camera would be great.

Sprint has just recently released it on their website, so Telecom NZ's shouldn't be too far away...

I'd be interested with 700w GSM

Funny how they made the 700p with the same screen resolution as the 650, and left the 700w with a lower resolution.  Looking after the palm users of course lol

The smaler screen res on the Treo 700w had more to do with Win Mob 5 than Palm is what Ive heard.
(What Id realy love is a Treo 700p with 320x480 & no crapy small keyboard, just a keypad and app buttons)

There are Windows Mobile devices with VGA resolution. The decision to implement a lower resolution on the Treo 700w is Palm's decision, not a technical one.

I think they simply decided to downplay the device. Not the OS fault.

I know that win mob 5 supports higher res usually 640x 480 which scales perfectly from 320x240...
but from I’ve heard it was easer for compability to make the programs work with 240x240 and scroll down (a cut off 320x240) than try and expand existing appps to the wider 320x320 standard palm res.

As the default layout on win mob 5 is 320 tall and 240 wide.
