I've done it before as well, I know that the live chat operators are based in Christchurch for broadband, they currently have this message on their broadband contact us page "As staff in our contact centres in Christchurch are currently not able to work, there may be a delay in our response to your query." 

Maybe they are unable to operate this service at the moment? Just a guess, unfortunately I can't help you more!
