They use to be cutting edge, Excellent user friendly phones.
the cheaper-end new Nokia phones (tele and Voda)
Have horrid low-res CSTN screens (the real grainy dim ones you can only see from angle)
Or low-resolution screens if they are larger
horribly small crammed or otherwise cheap feeling keys
have very soft plastic which cracks
screen protecting plastic is usally easily scratched low-grade plastic
battery life is often pathetic
Have poorly set out menu's
the phones which have anything decent,,,, are just so SLOW to navigate.
Their flips are chunky, Bulky, bad, space wasting designs!
half their phones are just retooled casings over old phones
Their CDMA offering look like the GSM versions, but are often cut back paperweights (6225 comes to mind)
I must admit however, nokia are looking much better recently,,, at least with high end devices like the Voda3G ones and the latest Tele027 ones are resonably good (the 6265 is a lovely phone with bigish keys, fantastic camera and a gourgeous screen aside the slow menu nav)
but what happened to the last 3 years!!!!! some heaps of wasted resources have came from them souring their name. WHAT were they thinking!
