Wouldn't a quick call to Telecom answer that?

Support a locally made Linux based Operating System, try Linux Lite.

12 month contract term include free wireless modem/router and $0 connection fee
no contact term does not include a modem/router and there is $99 connection fee

Details all on their website
http://www.telecom.co.nz/totalhome

You can get it installed for free (provided your customer meets connection requirements) but you don't get a free modem on the Total Home Starter Package.

TH Starter offers no free modem for a 12 Month connection, Single user or Wireless.

The wireless modem is now $99, same price as the single port modem. I believe these have been phased out now anyway and have been replaced with the Wireless Thompson 585v8.

So just the free $99 standard Broadband connection with a 12 Month term.

TH Lite or above offers free Wireless modem + standard broadband connection with a 12 Month term.

EDIT: Spelling errors

I'm sure if you rung up and asked real nicely they would be able to throw in a modem in exchange for contract
