I have a Telecom account with an old xtra email address still attached to it. Until last Friday I also had a XT number attached to it just for mobile data. Since I have not used it for a while I decided to cancel the XT number.

I am now trying to get to Your Telecom to check a pdf with the last invoice to find what's the account number, and it says "Sorry, but this service is temporarily unavailable".

I know the service is no unavailable, since it works well if I use my personal account details.

How can I get access to Your Telecom now? Of course I might call 123 and go through passing company name, etc to try but I doubt they will let me go through if I don't have an account number...

I contacted support (via email no less!) and received a reply in a timely manner. Good job there, Telecom.

It happens you must have a phone number to have access to My Telecom. It seems from now on my other services will continue to be billed but instead of an electronic invoice I will start receiving paper.

From your first post it seems like there is only the one email address associated with that account. Unless there is some reason that you require it to be billed to that particular account, you might find it easier to transfer the email address to one of your other accounts.

A transfer request can be done at http://telecom.co.nz/myaccount and clicking on the "Change billing account details" link at the bottom of the page.

Just a thought. ;-)
