Hi,

Could Somebody give me information on the programming codes for Telecom NZ and instructions on how to program a Nokia 6585 as a code was entered on my phone which destroyed it Yell and no it continually says searching for network.
Any Help would be greatly appreciated

This is not a programming problem. If you still wish to have your phone please visit your local Telecom Dealer, or dial 123 from your landline or *123 form a Telecom New Zealand Mobile.

It is against Geekzone Forum rules to post the codes here.

You can take it to a dealer and send it away to Telegistics for assessment and possible repair.. the codes are not available and will not fix the fault as a file to access the network has been deleted. they are such old phones now anyway.

now that the phone requires re-flashing, its probably not economical...

look here you can get the same phone in working order from around $51. You cant get your current one even -assessed- for that price, let alone repaired...

Hi Took it to 3 telecom stores and they couldnt figure the problem. And I really cant afford anything else considering this phone is $250.

its the same feature set as any $129 phone nowadays (actually it probably has less features than a $129 phone).
Thats new with warranty....

Trademe your old phone::
"For sale, 6585, someone reset it, now wont connect"

You will get $20 or $30 for it,....
