Hi all,

Got a new job, they are offering $50 per month subsidy for my cell, only problem is that it is on XT.

Anyway, does anyone know any good places to get a good android smartphone for XT? I quite like my mates HTC Incredible.

Cheers in advance.

Assuming you can buy at full price anywhere rather than a telecom supplied one then:
http://www.mobicity.co.nz/phone-categories-1/xt-network.html
quite a few good ones in there.

Just curious what the XT problem is?

As eXDee suggests mobicity is cheap, there is always TradeMe selling Brand New XT phones.

Just make sure they use the 850 UMTS (WCDMA) not 850 GSM network frequency.

NonprayingMantis = awesome <3 you

I have nothing against buying from XT, however I went in there the other day and there was limited choice and I want to check I am getting value for my $.

eking seems to be a bit vague on what model it selling. They seem to copy/paste the gsmarena description which has both models specs in it. Have a look at http://eking.co.nz/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=12&products_id=291

The price is good  but "This device is fully unlocked for vodafone and 2deegrees."  hence the cheap price..

Can't seem to see on their web site if  these prices are x GST or not..

@pwapwap

I asked the question about GST and it is inclusive of the price however the answer i got about the HTC Incredible S was not so good when i asked them what model they supplied . They said "And customers get them randomly when they order" so you pays your money and takes your chances I guess..

@oldeyes

That is interesting, I asked about the incredible S and XT and got this response.

"I'm sorry to say but our HTC incredible S will only work properly on the
Vodafone and 2degrees network."

Found it on techbrands and pricespy say they are the cheapest...
