hey guys, heard somewhere from someone who i cannot remember, that telecom are doing double data on their total home packs... is this true? and if so, when is it happening?   cheers !

It will appear on your next billing cycle (this month) :)

If you are on any of the Totalhome Packs, you don't have to do anything, the double-up will automagically apply. Log into Your Telecom to check your new cap once this happens.

brilliant !! thanks so much, now i can picture x2 as long on modern warfare 3, BF3 over xmas :) now to live through the next 3 months @ uni on blocked net... (no gaming)

My folks weren't on any Total Home thing, but they're being changed over to it. We had a separate internet 20G account thing, and i got a letter saying it was going to be doubled, but they were going to put up the internet charges $5.

That's because your folks are on a older plan.
The doubling only applies to the Total Home set of plans (the ones you can get now)

Yes not exactly double data. I'm on the 80GB plan and only get an extra 20GB.=100GB

Still, Beggars can't be choosers on telecom though eh.
