I've got this MOFI pocket wifi using Huawei EM770 with the following  specification:
manufacturer:Huaweimodel:EM770interface:MiniPCIechipset:Qualcomm MSM6290GSM frequency bands:850, 900, 1800, 1900UMTS frequency bands:850, 1900, 2100HSDPA:7,2 MBit/sHSUPA:5,76 MBit/sEDGE:236,8 KBit/sGPRS:57,6 KBit//s
I believe telecom XT use UMTS 850 and 2100 but I've input the correct APN and I still can't get on to net.

APN: internet.telecom.co.nz
Login and password are blank
PIN is blank

I've tried following things:
-Switching to 2degree SIM= working
-Using XT SIM on my phone(Only support 1700/2100)= working

It's seems to be a setting problem but I don't know which one, if you have setup a pocket wifi before please give me some advise.

Are you sure it's a EM770.. and not a EM770J.

http://3g-modem.wetpaint.com/page/Huawei+EM770

If the card supports 1700, then it might be the J, and only work on 800Mhz, not 850.

XT is UMTS 850 and 2100.

So I would if there is an option for "3G Auto" rather than specifying a particular frequency.
