CDMA devices will not work in other countries.... You can roam to some countries but thats it. No way to get the device provisioned to another network.

CDMA networks do not use a SIM card. The phone will not work there (unless there's roaming available), because most CDMA networks don't connect imported phones.

It's better for your to sell it here and buy something there.

Are you really sure?? I am saying so because there are three different companies in India who provides CDMA services and you can buy a mobile phone from Nokia and then choose the services.

Those are not SIM cards, those are RUIM cards. And the Harrier does not use those. Actually no phone in New Zealand use those cards.

So, not it won't work.

Yes, I am sure. But if you really doubt, then contact the companies and ask them directly.

CDMA phones have to have special software for each network, you cannot just get any phone connected to any network

Look, I think you shold start believing what some of the oldest people here are saying. Go ahead and try it. Then sell the device as a Pocket PC only, because it will not be connected.

Definitely CDMA phones need operator to customise directly to make it work on their network.

sell your current phone here like freitasm says... he knows the right things to tell you...
