I can someone help me please, i have been told that this phone is unlocked and will work on any network in nz, i want to know if this is true. The link is http://www.dicksmith.co.nz/product/EM0032/samsung-galaxy-ace

Any help is much appreciated

No it will not work on any network in NZ fine for Vodafone NZ and 2Degrees not Telecom XT as it does not support WCDMA 850mhz

As John said the phone will not work with XT.

"Unlocked WCDMA 900/2100, GSM 850/900/1800/1900"

You need WCDMA 850 to work on XT. This phone will work with Vodafone or 2Degrees network.
