Hi guys,

I have recently bought an epson multifunction printer /fax and have now found out that these fax machines along with some other brands are not compatible with faxability.

The telecom site says you can buy a decoder / adapter at major retailers if your machine is not compatible so the fax machine recognises the different ringtone.

The problem is, that I have searched high and low for one, and not one retailer knows what I'm talking about.
I see a few years ago you could buy them form DSE etc but no more.  (SMARTRING / STEALTH).

If anyone out there could point me in the right direction, it would be most helpfull.

Cheers
Muzz

Thanks for the reply, however I have tried them and they do not stock them anymore.

I have one here that is branded "OCOM" Stealth2 Ring Decoder. I see Ocom have changed now to Connect NZ. They might still have old stock of these things.
