Okay, so i have a question and it may seem dumb, but it's worth a shot.

Do these minutes work to telecom phones too, since you're using the same network and stuff, or no?

If not will you consider adding telecom to this deal?

There you will find your answer.

yes, i realise that. but i figure that since it goes through telecoms network that it wouldn't cost them anything to include telecom too.

it was more of a suggestion really.

Many of 2degrees calls go through the Vodafone network but it costs them. Remember skinny is a seperate company to Telecom and they are buying wholesale from Telecom's network just like Telstra or Digital Island

It's a fair question, as far as I know you can have a Vodafone on net bestmate to a Telstra number as it is an MVNO. When Slingshot operated through Vodafone you could use a bestmate to one of their numbers too.

As I understand Skinny is 100% owned by Telecom NZ

Telecom - owned by not ruled by.  We're on our own in a tiny office above a pub.

The offer is Skinny to Skinny only.

I note the on-net Skinny to Skinny offer ends 30 April 2012. Perhaps to differentiate yourself from your competitors this on-net offer could be extended or perhaps a certain amount of free on-net minutes given to each customer per month.

John, Vodafone still has two best mate offers currently don't they. One for on-net at $6 per number per month and the other Off-net at $10 per number per month. Up to a maximum of three numbers.
