I submitted a port request on Wednesday using the online form (http://www.livingskinny.co.nz/bringmynumber.php) which is supposed to take up to six hours. It is now two days later and the Telecom CDMA number hasn't been ported, and no contact from Skinny.

Has the porting process worked for anyone else? Is this simply an issue of "congestion" as a large number of people port across (in which case I can just wait it out) or is this a unique case/should I contact Skinny?

Thanks :)

Hi there, my apologies for my slow reply here, and with your porting request. We have indeed had a lot of porting requests, and have had to change our porting process a bit, new details are posted on the Skinny website under 'Bring my number'.

Has your porting request been completed? Or can I help you with it?

Thanks, Mark

It hasn't been ported yet but at the moment it's not convenient due to work. Should I just resubmit that form once ready?

Might be better to check where your current port request is at, don't want it happening at the wrong time. You can either contact the Skinny Rep you've been dealing with, or email the details to me directly and I'll follow it up for you.

Cheers, Mark

Porting can take upto 48 hours but all things being equal it can move along faster.
