I'm in Wellington and have the same issues. Some sites like Facebook and Geekzone work but most don't, trhowing up DNS or empty response errors. Really really annoying. Hopefully it won't last.

Odd... My DNS addresses were 122.56.237.1 and 210.55.111.1.

Can't seem to figure out how to change DNS configuration on this standard Technicolor bundled router though. Awful interface.

Not working out in the Hutt, mobile broadband isn't working either. Connected at the moment via my 2degrees data card Laughing

Edit:
And we're back less than 5 minutes later.

Approx 1am in the morning the issue started so a very good chance it's not a fault but part of planned work

We?ll be making some changes to the Broadband network on Tuesday 7th February, between 12 am and 4 am. This may cause a temporary loss of Broadband service for some customers. If you have problems connecting to broadband between those hours please be patient as the interference should not take longer than 30 minutes. If you continue to have issues logging on after 30 minutes, please first reset your modem by unplugging the power cord to your modem and replacing it after 10 seconds. If that doesn?t help please call our broadband help desk on 0800 22 55 98 for further assistance. We apologise for the inconvenience
